Award
On the HP Software Business Perspectives 2010 event, held between 09-11.06.2010, in Visegrád, Hungary, AD EuroComputer Systems – ECS received an award for the Most Innovative Project in the last year in EEM & Hungary. This prestigious acknowledgment was given by HP Software & Solutions, in recognition of ECS’ excellent performance in the realization of the IP Monitoring Tool project – Phase II for Macedonian Telekom AD Skopje (a member of Deutsche Telekom group). AD EuroComputer Systems – ECS, as prime-contractor, together with HP Professional Services, as sub-contractor, were awarded this project, which dealt with the upgrade of the HP SW products and extension of the functionalities of the previously established IP Monitoring Tool, for encompassing IPTV services. The project comprised requirements analysis, preparation of a solution and realization of a modern integrated IP monitoring platform for Macedonian Telekom, based on industry recognized best practices and HP Software products. The IP Monitoring Tool allows observing VPN and IPTV services health, from the viewpoint of the consumers of those services - the business, its customers and its partners. The realized platform established a foundation for further expansion and monitoring of additional services of Macedonian Telecom, as well as connection to the trouble-ticketing system, thus allowing for management of the complete lifecycle of fault and performance issues, from both operational and business perspective.
