ECS was founded in 1991 as General Representative of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) for the Republic of Macedonia, and had worked on its behalf.
Since 1998, after the acquisition of Digital from Compaq, ECS became Compaq Partner, and after the Compaq/HP merger in 2002, the partner cooperation continued with HP.

In 1994 when Multivendor Customer Services (MCS) was formed within Digital, ECS signed a Service Agent Agreement that authorized ECS to offer all additional MCS services in Macedonia.
Since 1998, after the acquisition of Digital from Compaq, ECS was Authorized Compaq Service Provider, and after the Compaq/HP merger in 2002, ECS became a HP Authorized Service Delivery Partner (ASDP).

 Within the representation of Digital Equipment Corporation, ESC was a partner for the complete portfolio of DEC’s products, including the OpenView software line for IT infrastructure management. This product line was later overtaken by Compaq, and afterwards by HP, who continued with its broadening through further acquisitions of leading software products of IT infrastructure and services management, thus today having one of the most powerful management platforms – HP Business Technology Optimization.
